It’s been a few weeks since I’ve done a new set of Photoshop brushes, and this one’s been swimming around my head for a little while now. So no time like the present to get it completed and rolled out to all of you PS brush lovin’ fewls. I’m actually not going to say much about how I created this set. I’d like to see if anyone can guess what these brushes actually are.

I think they work best with a little bit of Outer Glow layer style added. I’ve detailed the process below.

I hope you enjoy this set of brushes! And remember if you do use them in your work, please feel free to share at the Room122 Flickr Group.

Very pretty…might make gold dust with the right styles applied?

    Did you use eyeshadow?

Nope… Very good guess though. I’ve thought about creating some eyeshadow brushes before.

Did you sprinkle powder on the scanner screen and scan?

  5. Nathan says:

Oooh… Very close. Can you be more specific on the powder? It wasn’t sprinkled on the scanner. Although I have been known to abuse my scanner by getting it dirty from time to time.
