Grinder Sparks: A Free High Res Photoshop Brush Set

You never know when there’s a great Adobe Photoshop brush right in front of you waiting to be created. After a weekend in the garage working on a welding project, I never thought I’d come away with new Photoshop brushes. I built this set from some photos I took of sparks flying from a hand grinder. This is a great set of 8 high resolution brushes for adding sparks or splatter to your art.

    How do you get the image to glow like in the example?

    That’s just a simple Outer Glow Layer Effect in Photoshop. The glow color is set to the same color as the brush. Also, I believe there is a Gradient Overlay from white to yellow. Have fun!
