I’m always after great fonts, and while browsing around last week I stumbled across the font design work of Billy Argel. His designs are absolutely wonderful. The fonts are chaotic and messy, which I love. Billy’s site contains over 30 fonts all free for non-commercial use. He is featured on dafonts and 1001 fonts. Head over there and give Billy’s fonts a try. Believe me, you won’t be sorry.

Free Font Found: The Work of Douglas Vitkauskas

Last week I stumbled upon the design work of Douglas Vitkauskas. His portfolio site includes some great designs including print, logo and web work. I was also extremely impressed with the collection of free fonts that Douglas offers. There are some really usable type faces in his collection, so I grabbed a few of my favorites and filed them away for future use. Douglas also offers some great fonts for sale as well.

Free Font Found: Moksha by Misprinted Type

Every time I visit Misprinted Type, I have to stop and drool for a moment. The design and layout of the site is very unconventional and off the wall, but it works very well. And it makes me think a little, which is always a good thing. There is a new addition to the free font section there called Moksha. This is a great grunge style font that’s a little dirty, and a little off balance… Which I love.

It’s good stuff. Give it a download and try it out!
