This brush set is a little experimental… I combined some reference photos of skulls I had on hand with some textures that I had photographed a few months back. I’m pretty happy with the results. You can’t have enough creepy skulls after all. Sometimes a design calls for a screaming skull engulfed in flames, so you never know when these little guys might come into play!

This one is a little different from my usual post. I recently created a vector illustration of a Volkswagen Beetle convertible for a personal project, and I thought I would share the file here. I’ve provided 3 color variations below. The colors are easy to change with just a few clicks. Go ahead and leave the top down on these autos, and let your hair blow. Enjoy!

I probably haven’t mentioned this here before, but I’ve recently picked up fly fishing as a hobby. Part of the fun of fly fishing is tying your own flies from things like hen feathers and deer hair. As I begin putting together a collection of such items the fisherman in me was saying “What great flies, I’ll be able to tie”… but at the same time the artist in me was saying “What a great set of Photoshop brushes all of this stuff would make!”. So a new collection was born. I’m calling this one Exploding feathers! The set is made up of multiple types of feathers and hair… my scanner itches just thinking about it.
