Okay, first off let me apologize for the lack of posts this week. It’s been surprisingly busy around here. To make it up to you, I’m ending the week with a bang. And that bang is Wood Series Volume 2. This Photoshop brush set consists of 12 high resolution leaves that I picked up on a recent trip to Tennessee. The trees there are beautiful and colorful this time of year. Leaves were falling into my pockets and begging to be immortalized in a Photoshop brush set!

Wood Series Vol. 1 Knot Holes: Photoshop Brush Set

I’m on a Photoshop Brush kick! This is volume 1 of the wood series. This brush set features 10 high resolution Photoshop brushes. I like to have a lot of wood textures on hand. I use them a lot in my own designs. So it was only natural to start creating brushes out of my personal stock collection. These knot hole brushes were created from photos of an old wood fense in my back yard.

Earlier today my Quick Mask Mode (which I use a lot) in Photoshop stopped working completely. I’m not sure what happened to cause this, but I had to have it in order to complete the project I was working on. It’s my favorite masking method! After some poking around I suspected a bad preferences file to be the culprit.
